Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a contract?
A signed contract is essential to protect both the customer and the contractor. It helps ensure that both parties clearly understand the details of the project.  It should list specific details such as materials, the scope of work, and any warranties.
What steps are taken to protect my structure against the environment during the process?
In the event we encounter rain or other weather events during the process our crews will take reasonable steps to protect your structure. Our typical process is to stop work and place a protective tarp on the roof until the weather event has cleared.
How long will it take to replace my roof?
It typically takes 1-2 days to do a full roof replacement on a residential home, depending on the size of the roof.
What happens if you uncover damage that wasn’t visible before?
We anticipate some hidden damage such as rotten decking under your existing roof. Our contract includes an allowance for this kind of unexposed damage. If there is damage that exceeds this allowance you should anticipate an additional cost which is also listed in your contract. We will notify you immediately if this additional cost is expected to apply to your project.  Please contact your appointed representative if you have any questions or concerns regarding these policies.
When is payment due?

We expect payment in full on the day of completion.

For insurance claims, the insurance provides a schedule of payment that varies with each company. Please contact your appointed representative if you have any questions or concerns.
